Even as the body of Nigeria's First Lady Stella Obasanjo was released by Spanish authorities Monday, the controversy over her sudden death, in the hands of plastic surgeons at the Molding Clinic, deepens. However, according to Elendureports.com ,the ill-fated surgery that took the life of the First Lady was led by Dr. Ramon Roige, the Director General of Molding Clinic.
The Magistrate judge at Court 2 in Marbella, Spain is currently investigating the doctors at Molding Clinic for possible medical malpractice. Hence, the hospital is keeping a very tight lid on information about the incident that led to the death of Nigeria’s First Lady.
Andrea, a receptionist at the clinic refused to put through calls to any doctors at the clinic. She also refused to reveal how many doctors work at the Molding Clinic.
The manager of Molding Clinic, who simply gave his name as Emilio. said that there was an on-going investigation regarding the death of Mrs. Obasanjo.
Asked whether Dr. Ramon Roige is being interrogated, he replied that he cannot give any information regarding the investigation. He emphasized that their clinic has not received a copy of the autopsy report from the authorities who carried out the investigation. Emilio said that the clinic would not be making any more statements to the Press concerning the circumstances of the death of the President’s wife.
According to information available on their web site, the Molding Clinic has been around since 1924. It is a fifteen-bed facility that boasts of two operating rooms and an emergency aid room. Expectedly, their rooms are easily comparable to a suite in any 5-star hotel as, "all the rooms have satellite television, DVD, cabled music, and Internet connection." The suites also have hydro-massage, hydro-sauna, and Jacuzzi.
