Mr Kofar-Soro also warned politicians to desist from encouraging any form of violence, saying: "We will not tolerate any form of violence during and after the polls. We are out to ensure the safety of lives and property." He advised parents not to allow politicians to use their children as political thugs, warning that security officers had been ordered to arrest and prosecute any person or group of persons found breaching the peace.
