Super Falconents players were given $2,000 (about N236,000) to use for shopping by the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Sani Lulu for brilliant showing against New Zealand and England in the on-going FIFA U-20 Women World Cup competition holding in Chile.
The money was handed over to the players by the leader of the Nigerian delegation to the competition Taiwo Ogunjobi on Saturday night after Nigeria held England to a pulsating 1-1 draw in her second game of the qualification group.

In fact, the NFF president promised the players another $2,000 for shopping if they clinch the quarter-finals ticket by beating Chile resoundingly on Wednesday.

Disclosing this to Nationsport one telephone from Chile on Sunday afternoon, Ogunjobi revealed that the girls have promised to beat the host nation especially as they are now out of the competition having lost their first two matches to the United States of the America (2-0) and New Zealand (4-3) respectively.

Ogunjobi further assured Nigerians that the girls have the right mental attitude, commitment, skills and the zeal to lift the FIFA U-20 World Cup stressing that there was the need for prayers from Nigerians at home for them to achieve the feat.
